There is currently no vaccine available for japanese encephalitis (JE). However, there is an ongoing clinical trial for a JE vaccine that is showing promise.
The trial is being conducted by the National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Japan, and the vaccine is being developed by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company.
So far, the vaccine has been found to be safe and effective in mice. The next step is to test it in humans.
If the vaccine proves to be effective in humans, it could be a major breakthrough in the fight against japanese encephalitis. Please note: This content is for informational purposes only.
